Overview
The Republic of Cascadia is a country in southeastern Gondwana, in the Fodlan region, that was founded in 1267. Cascadia has a population of 20,083,672. The majority of the population are humans. The official language of Cascadia is Codexian. The capital of Cascadia is Cascadia, and the largest city is the port city of Seaport. The douglas fir is native to Cascadia.
History
Cascadia was founded by a group of forest nomads that lived around Lake Cascadia on May 23rd, 1267. One day they decided they wanted to stay in one place and start a nation, so they founded a tiny village that became the capital Cascadia. Some other nomads went to the coast, there they founded a port village, which quickly became much bigger than Cascadia. This port village later became Seaport. Every May 23rd, the nation of Cascadia celebrates the founding of their nation, called Founding Day.
Economy
The Cascadian Trhuil the official currency of Cascadia. Cascadia has a GDP of 803,346,880,000 USD and a GDP per capita of 40,000 USD. Cascadia's largest exports are lumber and seafood, and their largest imports are chocolate and bananas.
Government
Cascadia is a republic, with it's legislature being the senate. The leader of Cascadia is president Ronald Fores Johnson. Ronald Fores Johnson has just started his term this year. Cascadia supports democratic elections, and is a capitalist country. Each term in Cascadia is 10 years.
Geography
Cascadia has a fairly cold climate. Cascadia is heavily forested and is fairly mountainous. Cascadia has a large inland lake called Lake Cascadia. The largest river in Cascadia is the Seacadia River that spans from Lake Cascadia to the sea. The highest peak in Cascadia is Treefort Peak standing at 9,271 feet tall. Cascadia has a fairly large sandy coastline. The largest national forest is Cascadia National Forest spanning most of the nation.
