The '''Grand Prix of Music''' (Phoexian: Grand Festival della musica), officially known as the '''Phoenixian Song Festival''', is an annual song contest and awards ceremony held in the city of Afragola, Belporto. It is organized by [[Phoenixian Public broadcaster (PPB)]] and is considered one of the most important events in the Phoenixian music industry.
In the early 2000s, the competition was the most popular television programm in [[Phoenixia]]; it is also broadcast on radio and the Internet.

The songs selected in the competition are in Packilvanian and Staynish, and the three most voted songs are awarded the [[Quartz Award]] conferred by [[National Music Association]]. Other special awards are also given, including the Critics' Award.

The Grand Prix of Music has often been used as a method for choosing the Phoenixian entry for the [[Urthvision Songfestival|Urthvision Song Festival]]. It has launched the careers of some of Phoenixia's most successful musical acts, including [[Love and Peace]], [[Jeremy Scott Kate]], [[Daniel Nefion Berg]], [[Chaos Blade]] and [[Robert Tens Nevermind]].

Since 2021 the music magazine and record agency [[Matango]] and the food multinational [[Caroma]] have become an official sponsor of the Grand Prix of Music and the new Matango Trials section, where young artists and rookie bands make their debut.
