Formally whaling hunting fleet known as Eik Hvalfangst. In December 2021, the company was bought by an Cryrian bank and billionaire whale enthusiast Gustaf Sundtröm from the Nystatiszna government. The new owners aim to re-structure the company to promote environmentally sustainable business which will mostly employ Nystatinnes at low level jobs. Fantøm Whales was decided as company's new name after Gustaf Sundtröm visited Fantøm during an inspection of his new fleet. While Fantøm's bay is completely uninhabitable for whales, the billionaire believed that the name would provoke an extra-layer of mystery for Cryrian tourists.
