Almodaria
The Federal Republic of Almodaria (TFRA) is a Centrist Federal Elective Democracy found in the barren and warm regions of Arcturia and formed in the year 2002 after an era of bloody civil disputes in the region it now stands in. The population stands at 18 million Almodarians. Almodaria is known famously for the large yields of fished gathered from their trout fishing industries alongside its arms manufacturing for the Almodarian National Army. The largest city is Tuvaria with a population of 12 million citizens as of the 2022 National Census followed by Aranistan with a population of 4 million citizens.

Almodaria is absent from Regional Affairs unless it directly affects their sovereignty. Policies have been made keep away from external affairs such as the No Internet Policy of 2022 which may be revoked by the new President.
History
In the beginning inside the borders of what is now Almodaria, The 5 states of Almodaria Tuvaria, Varatistan, Aranistan, Almodor, and Skavari (which make up the 5 stars on the state flag), were independent nations which formed in the early 1330s and the 1400s. The states were majority human and their collective identity of Almodarian kept relations between the 5 strong which led to an economic alliance sometime in 1665 as the Almodarian Economic Alliance (AEA) which kept each state strong and secure. Although there is one thing that can cause more damage than any war: Militarist Nationalists. The 1700s would be called the "Century of Nationalism" where Nationalist groups had small conflicts on the border zones of the 5 states and some groups were brave enough to infiltrate towns and incite riots in order to gain attention from the government and other nationalists. The bloodiest riot in this era was the Evening Brawl of 1789 in Almodor where 15 people were injured and two were killed in the fight which became a mosh pit that crushed whoever couldn't get out. This riot led to a government crackdown and in the nations of Tuvaria, Skavari, and Almodor nationalism was deemed illegal and the punishment was death. The equal agreement among the states (apart from Varatistan and Aranistan which had nationalist governments) brought the three closer together and the bond was strong and last through the 1800s and 1900s and in 1980 a young Viturian politician and former soldier named Viktor Yurichenko became President of Tuvaria and sent a referendum vote to Parliament to unite the states under a single banner under the name Almodaria. The first to accept were Skavari and Almodor on January 6th, and the 12th, and after with much reluctance Varatistan and Aranistan joined on January 22nd, 1990 with the new name The United Republic of Almodarian States. Quickly after the unification things changed radically in the country. Yurichenko dismantled the Parliament and put up a council that would undertake legislative measures and dismantled the voting system in favor of a system where the leader chooses who gets to be in office and gave himself full control which a council as a figurehead. The "Republic" became a Fascist Totalitarian Regime in the matter of months and the next 90s would be called "The reign of terror".
The reign of terror was brutal for those who weren’t in good standing with the dictator Yurichenko. People deemed “Anti Government” or “Federalist” were imprisoned in work camps in the western wastelands, executed, or brainwashed and beaten. Access to the outside world was cut out and the International Affairs Office was dismantled and embassies were shut down. The reign of terror was only interrupted by the Mutiny of 2000 and the Declarations of Independence by Vituria (The capital was once called Tuvaria after the state it resided in but was changed by the new government in the 90s) , Aranistan, and Skavari (Almodor stayed neutral with Varatistan until late 2000). The war raged for two years with thousands of civilians being slaughtered by the Almodarian government and the resistance (war crimes weren’t only caused by the dictatorship). The war ended in an all out push for the captured capital and Yurichenko was captured and later executed for his crimes along with the rest of his staff and generals from 2003-2010 in what was known as Reconstruction.
Three parties formed along with the reformed Parliament: The Futurists, The Traditionalists, and The Workers Party of Almodaria, and sometimes the Independent League if it had the popularity.
In the present era there have been two presidents with the first being ousted after his rule from 2005-2022 and the second president being Avros Jabronos who lead the reconstruction as Governor of Tuvaria (formally Vituria).

There have been only three presidents of united Almodaria which are listed below:
Viktor Yurichenko (1990-2002)
Viktor led the defunct United Republic of Almodarian States as a dictator but kept the name of President. He was tried for his war crimes and was executed via firing squad after the war.
Leo Skavardi (2016-2022)
Following the war, the Regency Council of Welfare oversaw the country until a president could be elected which happened in 2016 with Leo Skavardi being elected as President. He had the second longest term in office due to the redesign of the government which took nearly a decade due to civil chaos and corruption. He was arrested in late 2022 for embezzlement and corruption charges and is now serving for life in prison.
Avros Jabronos (2022-)
The current leader of Almodaria after an extensive emergency election and former governor of Tuvaria. He is up for reelection in 2025.
Government
The Almodarian government is divided into two houses parliamentary houses the Upper House and the Lower House. These houses make laws and decisions for what they're connected to while the President of Almodaria oversees both houses to keep order in Legislature while leading the Almodarian people.
Upper House
The Upper House of Parliament makes laws and decisions for Domestic Affairs within the country which gives them the alternate name of the Domestic Affairs Council. They oversee things like public transportation or education for example. The Upper House has 78 members that serve terms of 5 years and can be reelected twice.
Lower House
The Lower House of Parliament makes laws and decisions for Foreign Affairs outside the country which gives them the alternate name of the Foreign Affairs Council. They oversee the Armed Forces of Almodaria and diplomatic relations with other nations in the continent however foreign diplomatic policies hardly come about due to the government leaning towards a hermit society where the outside world is ignored. The Lower House has 60 members that serve terms of 5 years and can be reelected twice.
President of Almodaria
The President of Almodaria is the highest title in the government and is held by one person every 4 years and can be reelected up to 3 times. They oversee everything that goes on in Parliament and attend ceremonial and diplomatic events held throughout the country.
