The 1928 Mukarras Bombing was a car bombing that took place in the city of Mukarras in the Republic of Mukarras on May 12th, 1928. The blast killed 46 people, including 31 Mukarrasi nationals, 13 Mirhaimian workers, and 2 security guards working for Golden Oil. In addition, hundreds were injured, although the specific numbers are unknown. The blast took place in front of a tax office in Mukarras which was co-operated by the government of Mukarras and WEGEC administrators. The governments of Mirhaime and Mukarras both blamed the rebel group Tawaabah for the attack, noting that they had included the offices on a list of "corrupted" institutions several months earlier. Meanwhile, Tawaabah (and the modern nation controlling Mukarras, Aldaar) had called it a "Mirhaimian false flag operation" designed to make Tawaabah look bad.
