Overview

The Parthus Confederation is a nation in the Kaskada region of southeast Gondwana.

History

Parthus was founded in 207 BC as a seafaring empire. They went all over Urth looking for new places to explore and new goods to sell to new people they found in their explorations. They ended up founding many small city-state colonies all over the place, using them to exploit the goods they found for money. Then in 1302 AD the monarch of Cascadii married the heir of the merchant king, and soon after the merchant king died forming a union between the nations called Cascadii-Parthus. When this happened the nation focused more on internal affairs than exploration and trade. When Cascadii-Parthus dissolved in 1621 the nation kept all of the colonies that it had before the union. Parthus is still seafaring to this day, with the majority of the military budget spent on navy and the government owning a major shipping company that ships many products all over Urth.
