The War of the Tretridian Succession was a 17th-century Novaran conflict triggered by a succession crisis in Tretrid. It was mainly fought between two rival claimants of the Tretridian throne, Eadgyð I and Ælfheah III. It marked the start of the Tretridian Anarchy, a prolonged period of Tretridian instability, and largely led to the collapse of the Tretridian colonial empire.
