A rather unstable nation, Valokchia is a nation in Northeastern Yasteria, led under Serpiko Pavlovic in a fascist dictatorship, who gained power in May 2018. Since it's unification in 1251, it has been considered apart of the Malsonian region, which is also composed of Ezrkot, Luthaiya, Manaiya, Asendavia, and Novo-Colombia. Ezkrot, Luthaiya, and Novo-Colombia directly border Valokchia, while Asendavia has a maritime border. Since 2019, it is populated by over 51 million people, with the capital being Voskakova, and the largest city being Cvetkovic with a population of 2.1 million. Other major cities include Opo, Sarakevo, Klaipedu, and Klipyel. Its official languages are Valokchian and Unonian, with Valokchian being apart of the Asendavian branch of the Indo-Malsonian language family.
For centuries, Valokchia was populated with hunter-gatherer nomads originating from present-day Asendavia and western Yasteria, with Vulpines migrating from present-day Vekaiyu, Isklevyu, and Listonia. The discovery of agriculture in the area sparked the rise of tribes of former hunter-gathering nomads and were mostly comprised of city-states and small-scale civilizations. In 1251, King Jakob Kovivika united all Valokchian tribes into the Valokchian Imperium composed of present-day Luthaiya, Manaiya, and Valokchia. From 1351 to 1373, a series of wars took place between Valokchia and Asendavia over territorial disputes, which led to a stalemate. The Valokchian Imperium which was led under 32 kings associated with the House of Mindaugas. In 1917, a sudden revolution took place in Voskakova, which sparked the Valokchian Civil War, between pro-democracy and pro-monarch forces, it lasted for 4 years and ended on May 25, 1921 with the Treaty of Klaipedu, which created the Valokchian Federation, as well as giving independence towards Luthaiya.
