Carridon Robotics is a company that manufactures industrial Robots. It was founded by Wes Carridon in 1967 as a company that made internal mobility machines within factories that moved goods and people on large factory floors. Their first major customer was Allegiance which used their machines in their enormous aircraft construction yards to move people and equipment more efficiently.

In the late 1960s, the company began building machines that would perform other tasks such as cutting, shaping, polishing, and attaching large components for the automobile industry. The company started using computers to control the machines in the 1970s. This made them safer and allowed for goods to be transported more quickly. In the mid 1970s, the company starting using wireless communications technology to allow the machines to be controlled remotely, reducing reliance on staff for managing mobility on the factory floor. In the 1980s, they added automation to allow the programming of rote and repetitive tasks.

In the 1990s, the company started using wireless communications technology to enable remote control of the machines. This enabled vastly greater analytics and reporting capabilities that allowed the machines to be calibrated for more delicate tasks and to adjust their intensity based on need. In the 2000s, the first artificial intelligence was being used to enable the machines to perform their tasks independently and to improve on their abilities to learning by repetition and feedback. In the 2010s, the company started working with arms manufacturers to use artificial intelligence for their vehicles and artillery.
