Tipene Rahua is an Oan politician who is currently the Director of the Oan Intelligence Bureau. He previously served as the Oan ambassador to the now-disbanded Auroran Continental Assembly and its successor, the United Nations of the Auroran Continent.
Early life and education
He was born on 6 August 1970 CE in Anapa, where he was raised. He studied mathematics and physics at the University of Anapa and worked as an analyst for the Oan Statistical Bureau.
Political career
After years in the public service, he was appointed Ambassador to the UNAC. He delivered the Oan proposal calling for war on Ethalria in 2017 following the assassination of the Duke of Horkalo, Prince Thadeus, prior to the Auroran-Pacific War. He is regarded as an Oan nationalist, strategic interventionist and military adventurist - in keeping with Oan political elites.
He currently serves as the director of the Oan Intelligence Bureau which is in charge of the Oan Isles' foreign intelligence. Among, his projects, he published a Geopolitical Threat Assessment Report for the UNAC council in 2021. He maintains a close relationship with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Arana Marama
Personal Life
He is married to Alexander Bishops from Staynes and they have a daughter together, Aroha-Leigh Rahua-Bishops. Analysts and colleagues describe him as hardworking, a ruthless and meticulous political operator. He is a devout Mauist.
