===Playoff Rules===
At the end of the Season, A playoff tournament is held to determine the AUL Champion, awarding them the Royal Cup[TEMP NAME PLZ CHANGE LATER]. The rules largely stay the same except for some notable differences:
In addition to regular league rules, the Playoff Rules are used during the playoffs to determine the Champions of the AUL. These set of rules include:

* Playoff eligibility is determined in one of two ways.
*If a game is still tied at the end of the first overtime, the game continues into 3 more addition overtime periods.
** If a Team finishes in the top 2 in their conference, they automatically qualify for playoffs
*If a tie persists, the teams enter sudden death. First team to score a point wins. A brief 5 minute intermission is observed before starting Sudden Death
**
*In Sudden Death, only 7 players from each team are allowed to play. There are no substitutions, or rotation of teams. {{refn|group=n|name=Sudden Death Rules| This rule was instituted after the controversial semifinals game in 1992 between the Roshall Royalists and the Urgia-Nova Warriors. It has been amended twice since it's inception: one in 2000 and a second time in 2008}}
*Playoffs are the top 16 teams from the league. The 4 winners of each conference automatically qualify, and the next 12 are decided by point total. If there is a tie in point totals, and the number of teams who qualify is over 12, the tiebreaker is determined by the difference of points scored and points given. If a tie persists, the win-loss record is compared. The wins are compared first followed by losses. If a tie continues to persist, a tie-breaker match is played following the playoff rules.

== Controversies ==
An Ambassador from [[Nystatiszna]] once declared that a frisbee is a "deadly weapon." This statement is highly disputed, and is factually incorrect. The AUL League Officials have declared this statement "slander" and an "insult to a game that's been around for 116 years." The AUL has sent a cease and desist letter to the ambassador.
