During the 1840s, interest in ambitions of expanding to better reach Auroran markets became common amongst wealthy members of the Vistari Colonial Company. One of these men, Claes Elrickzoon, Baron of Fiskrat and a minor member of the House of Nyvera, saw opportunity in the recovering Grand Republic of [[Salovia]]. He met with the Salovian Commerce Advisor - Iakob Gerilishvili - and purchased the island of K'undzeti and the Isles of Peper from Salovia for a sum of 44 Million Gildsmark ($587 million in 2020 SHD), with the treaty signed on the 14th March 1841, with the K'undzeti Purchase ratified on the 20th of the same month, forming the [[Vistari West PacificCerenerian Colonies]].
