The House of Commons (domestically known as the Commons), is the lower house and the de facto primary chamber of the Parliament of Sokala. Like the upper house, the House of Lords, it meets in the Palasyo ng Paham.

The Commons is an elected body consisting of 500 members known as members of Parliament (MPs). MPs are elected to represent constituencies by the ranked-choice voting and hold their seats until Parliament is dissolved.

The House of Commons of Sokala was established in the 19th century as part of Morstaybishlian efforts to give Sokala autonomy. It served as the secondary legislative body, serving under the Great Morstaybishlian Parliament. In 1920, A new House of Commons was established after the declaration of independence. It gave the Commons considerably more power than the House of Lords

Under the Parliament Acts 1920 and 2008, the Lords' power to reject legislation was reduced to a delaying power. The government is solely responsible to the House of Commons and the president stays in office only as long as they retain the confidence of a majority of the Commons.
