Sigested (/ˈsɪ.ɡɪˈstɛd/; Tretridian: Sigestede [ˈsi.jeˈste.de]) is the largest city in Tretrid and the capital of Crenland. It is Tretrid's financial center.

Sigested is traditionally stated to have been founded by Cenhelm I among other settlements in the region after his victory over vikings from the east, a feat commemorated in the epic poem Cenhelm. His descendants, the Cenhelmingas would unite Easþrena, but would be dispossessed of the city after Ælfric I's conquest of the city during the unification of Tretrid. Under Easþrena and under Tretrid, Sigested would grow into a prosperous port city that was able to capitalize on its natural harbor and location in the Atlantian Sea to become a center of trade.

Lordship over the region passed to Prince Ælfheah upon the death of King Cynric III, but in the War of the Tretridian Succession, caused by Ælfheah's claims over the Tretridian throne, Sigested was captured by soldiers loyal to Eadgyð I, leading to the heavy looting and burning of the city in 1658. Rule over Sigested would pass back to the Cenhelmingas upon Eadgyð I's death, when her son Wilheard III inherited lordship over the city, as well as the thrones of Tretrid and Seccera.
