The three grew to become important cities in the Lovian Empire, and soon became the seat of the Lovian monarchy until the establishment of Salovia, which would see the Suvolic and Lovian empires uniting under Lovian King Odelfv (later changing his title to Rorik III), who had usurped Suvolic King Rorik II in a bid to unite the thrones. With this unification, King Rorik III would rename the city to Shagonar after unifying the three cities into one singular entity. The newly-incorporated city saw a decline in prominence, however, as it no longer was the seat of the monarchy after uniting with the Suvolic empire; instead, the city focused more on economic growth, and became one of Salovia's major cultural and economic hubs.
