Savino Manfrin (November 20, 1973 - August 21, 2020) was an Ambravian politician who served as High Chancellor of the Republic of Ambravia. He first started his career as a politician under the dictatorship of Eridani Theta, quickly moving up the ranks on a platform promoting vulpine rights, later able to be elected as Northern Chancellor. Following the death of Eldur Mironov, the Second Fortunan Empire made it clear of their intentions to conquer Eridani Theta. Attempting to give the people a say, Supreme Chancellor Aran Lucius of Eridani Theta announced the holding of a referendum on if the country should join with the Empire. As Northern Chancellor, Manfrin campaigned diligently for the state's independence. Realizing the futility of keeping the nation together, Manfrin and his opponents agreed to change the referendum to see if the people were willing to split the nation, allowing for the eastern half to join Fortuna and the western half to form an independent state. On November 1, 2017, the people unanimously voted in favor of splitting the country. For the following months, Manfrin acted as an interim Chancellor of the newly formed Republic of Ambravia until official elections were held and he won the position of High Chancellor. During his time in office, he continued to push for Ambravia's sovereignty and build up the nation's defenses from any possible attacks by Fortuna. During the Fortunan-Ambravian War, he served as Commander-in-Chief of the Ambravian forces until his death on August 21 during Fortuna's offensive against the city of Riburn.
