Established in 2020 by the [[Puntalia Compromise Treaty]], the nation is the result of part internal military coup, part foreign intervention by Rodenia, the latter of which invaded as a result of an alleged communist conspiracy to overthrow the previously established government. The action was condemned by much of the international community, namely members of the [[NSTO]] and [[UCA]]. Puntalia, since the treaty, has become a member of the Anti-Communist Coalition.
