The President of the Republic of Esteira (Esteiran: Presidente da República da Esteira) is the head of state and head of government in Esteira. He is vested with sweeping powers and is also the Supreme Commander of the Esteiran Military Forces. He appoints and dismisses the prime minister, State Council (the cabinet), and military officers. It is the highest office in Esteira. Luis Souza is the 10th and current president of Esteira, holding the office since May 1, 1991. Souza is currently the longest-serving president, entering his 31st year of office in 2022.
