The Oceanic Diet (Norgsveltian: Oseaniske Tinget; Vistarian: Oceanischesdag; Salovian: ოკეანური პარლამენტი) is an inter-parliamentary institution within the Organization for the Cultural Minorities of Aurora - the political and cultural wing of the Oceanic Triad Agreement. Established within the founding document of OTA, the Oceanic Diet was officially founded on 8 August 2022 - though it did not have its first formal session until the 16th.

As well as acting as a forum for discussing additional political cooperation between OTA's signatory states, the body serves to advise the OTA and signatory governments on pathways to cultural exchange and collaboration in resolving issues of common interest in the region. The Diet additionally holds, with the direction of the OTA's Chancellery, power over the organization's treasury. Due to this, the body has jurisdiction to approve or demand changes to the organization's budget - granting it considerable powers to direct OTA funds towards the issues it sees fit.

The composition of the Diet is determined through the distribution of political parties in the respective lower houses (the sole house in the case of Wescernia), with each signatory state granted 30 seats. While members are chosen by the national party their seat was allocated to, the large amount of parties represented mandated the creation of broader political groups - known as Oceanic groups or Oceanic parties. The leader of the largest Oceanic group - currently the Liberal and Pluralist Association - is granted the title of First Minister, and may select a Speaker with approval of the Diet.

While the current system is seen as effective in ensuring the OTA cannot be dominated by any singular signatory state, the equal proportion of seats amongst the three countries has raised some controversy. This is due to the disparity in both population and economic output of signatory states, with every Valkyr resident represented only around half as much on average than a K'undzetian, and 4/5 of a Wescerian. In addition, due to heavy economic disparity in the region, some have suggested that the Diet need adjust its composition to properly compensate Vakrestrender as the largest contributor to the financing of OTA programs and sub-organizations. In such a climate, some scholars have suggested the formation of an informal alliance between Members from K'undzeti and Wescernia in order to block efforts to reform the allocation of seats so as to maintain an equal standing amongst signatories.
