The Cooperative Commonwealth of New Leganés, the Oblivion Islands and Shoneria, labelled as New Leganés in the competition, has participated fifteen times in the Urthvision Songfestival, the second country with most appearances, since making its debut in Urthvision III, where it finished 8th out of 18 participants. Following a financial controversy, LLNTV did not participate in Urthvision IV, but returned in Urthvision V, where the Cukish entry placed as runner-up for the first time. New Leganes retired from the competition after Urthvision XIX for an indefinite period, following a streak of low placements (with the exception of Urthvision XVII), the efforts spent in hosting three editions in a five year time while being a core member of the URC, the financial issues derived from hosting and the will to not monopolize the attention of the Urthvision media. Despite this, LLNTV declared their intention to stay in the URC "in whatever means it considers necessary".
The country obtained its first victory in Urthvision VII with the song "This Girl" by Qúns & Tribárne, in an unprecedented tie with Blueacia; this victory was followed by two more trophies: in Urthvision XIII, with "Beautiful Mess" by Ltxemxein Sarvis, and Urthvision XVII with "Euphoria" by Lórien Talháwi. New Leganés is currently the only country with more than one victory in the Urthvision Songfestival, holding therefore the record of most victories in the contest. Additionally, New Leganés holds the record of most podium positions in the contest, with a total of eight times, more than half of its fifteen appearances, having finished three times in a second place (editions V, IX and XII) and twice as third placed (editions VIII and XI), added to the aforementioned three victories. The country has placed in the top 10 positions in all but three editions, with the lowest placement being an nineteenth position in Urthvision XVIII.
Thus, New Leganés is considered the most successful country in the Urthvision Songfestival, a success which has made the contest a mass culture phenomenon in the Cooperative Commonwealth, becoming since 2018 the most watched television and streaming event of the whole country, with an average audience of 86% of the television share. The contest Tálek Védi, which has served as national final for most of the Cukish appearances in the festival, has also become the most watched Cukish TV program since the beginning of its association with Urthvision. Artists as Porbes, Néla Furtado, Máne Ferméli or the aforementioned Qúns and Lórien Talháwi have seen their fame expand following their appearances in the Songfestival, while the Cukish televote presenter in most editions and host for the VIII, XIV and XVIII editions, Pétra Méde, has become an icon in the Cukish pop culture and social media.
Urthvision's impact on the country has been present in several other areas outside of the music and media industry, such as economy, investment and tourism, which have experienced growing levels following the Cukish success on the contest and have attracted the attention of companies as Sámi RS, sponsor for the XIV and XVIII editions. The festival has also become a common topic of discussion for the parties represented in the Commonwealth Senate or for the National Government of Areuína Karnéias, who has often used Urthvision in her 2019 and 2022 election campaigns. On the other hand, controversies have occurred whenever the country's performance in the contest has not been as good: examples are the cancellation of Tálek Védi and the consequent country's absence in Urthvision IV, which caused one of the favourite artists on the polls and future winner of the contest, Lórien Talháwi, to submit her entry "Statements" to Furnifold, or the internal artist selections in the editions XIV, XV and XVI, which were followed by the three poorest results of New Leganés in Urthvision and were followed by protests by the populace and several political parties to bring back the agreement with Tálek Védi.
