The Morstaybishlian Rotantic Territories (abbreviated MRT) alternatively the Morst Rotantic or Rotantic Territories is a Morstaybishlian Overseas Territory that has three separate territories; Durk Isles, Inuit Isles and Maidna; the latter is within the Rotantic Circle and as a whole are considered part of the continental shelf of Borea. It consists 13,234.9 km² of baron rocky wasteland and tundra within a polar climate. The MRT is the northern most Morstaybishlian territory and at its northernmost point, Fort Thadeus, is 992,092 km from the North Pole. The population is 71K as of the September 2019 Population Census.
These territories were inhabited by humans and elf-kind as early as 15,000 BCE. Relatively untouched by nations throughout history, these territories were ruled by the Kalatian Empire from the mid first millennium, although an exact year is unknown; a painting of Fort Thadeus is visible as an early Kalatian settlement in the 9th century. These Rotantic Territories were conquered by the Morstaybishlian Empire in 1766 alongside Atiland. 214 years later, the Rotantic Territories were made apart of an independent Atiland, but was transferred back to Great Morstaybishlia in 2019 for polar research purposes.
The Morst Rotantic's primary economy is fishing and resource extraction. The most common fished animal is the Minke whale. Natural abundance of polar crude oil and gas was discovered in January 2020, 103 nautical miles north and within the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Durk Isles. By area, Maidna is 2,441 km², Durk Isles is 8,041 km² and Inuit Isles is 2,752 km². The Lieutenant Governor is Harry Gormurich since October 2019.
The Morst Rotantic is the only Morstaybishlian Overseas Territory to drive on the right. Its national animal is the polar bear, and its national plant is the snow gentian.
