Maxim Melnyk (6 February 1958 - 26 August 2012) was a Cappedorite-Thomarian revolutionary, politician, representative, and lobbyist who served as one of the leading figures of the Thomarian Liberation Army. Melnyk was directly involved in the execution and organisation of a majority of the events during the later stages of the Thomarian Troubles, and contributed to the organisation of the 2012 Thomarian Uprising, during which he was fatally wounded and died during a riot in Dorchester. From 2008 to his death in 2012, Melnyk was leader of the TLA, and he served in the Gemotern as a representative in Thomaria from 1994 to 2011.
