The prime minister of Nagato is the head of the Government of Nagato. Following the Treaty of Castella and the Annexation of the Imperial State of Nagato in 1945, the National Council was formed which established the position of prime minister as head of the National Council and as head of government. Clorissa Anderson was the first Prime Minister of Nagato from 1941 to 1950, while the next six Prime Ministers (Alan Clark, Kodaka Hasegawa, Sena Kashiwazaki, Sydney Johnson, Yozora Katsuragi, and Russell Franklin) equally had the longest-serving prime ministry with 10 years and 1 day.
The current Prime Minster is Moka Akashiya, whom has been in office since 16 April 2020.
