Lara Tarasovna, born 16 July 1950, is a Tuvalt politician who served as the first and longest-serving Speaker to the Zedakhli, Tuvaltastan's legislature, from 17 October 2006 to 18 September 2017, then serving as the first and only Undersecretary of the Auroran Union until 30 November 2017. She would later serve as the first President of the Commission of the United Nations of the Auroran Continent after the 2018 election to present day. Prior to her political career within Tuvaltastan, she served as the last Grand Minister of Salovia, and represented the Alta District. Her Ministry was cut short when Chancellor Ivan Strovani was assassinated, resulting in her becoming the acting Chancellor of Salovia for the remaining years of the nation's existence until 1992, when the Succession Treaty was signed by herself and Hugo Durgaliuri.

She is considered one of the most prominent and successful Independent politicians in Tuvaltastan and Aurora. As President of the UNAC Commission, she is ranked as one of the most powerful women in the world, as she serves in the highest executive office in arguably the most influential political union on Urth and one of the largest by a number of metrics, including GDP and population.

Born in the city of Rentorov, then part of Salovia, to parents Yuri Tarasovna and Anna Fitsche. She has a younger sister, Tanya Tarasovna.
