In 1956, she wrote what was to become her biggest hit, "Love, Need Help!". Initially, she faced difficulty in getting the song recorded but eventually recorded it herself.
 
Kate was among the founders of the [[National Academy of Country Music|]] and advocate of the [[Phoenixian Council of Arts]] (PCOA), based in Afragola, and a co-founder of the Afragolan IndRecords (AIR), of which she served as the first president.
 
Due to health issues, Kate could only participate in four editions of the [[Grand Prix of Music]] between 1972 and 1973. During this time1975, shewinning wonwith the competition with her song "Io e Lui" in 1973. Kate passed away in 1998 in her house at [[Afragola]] at the age of 68.
