Jeanne defeated incumbent prime minister [[Judith Ardouin]] in the 2018 Redress Election. Pierre being the youngest prime minister to be sworn in, and the first Agnostic but culturally [[Akuanism|Akuanist]].
 
Pierre's first year, focused heavily on economy reform, massively cutting several government agencies, adding further restrictions to welfare services and Federation introduction into the [[Ymirland Civil War]]. Pierre reformed special needs services in education and welfare, while cutting budgets for services dedicated towards addiction counseling. In addition to reforms to welfare, she massively reduced government spending through loosening and/or removing regulations on a plethora of industries. She focused on expanding the Côtoise economy, including being the driving force for [[Together Lapérouse!]] and increasing agricultural related industry subsidies.
