Freedom in the world is a yearly survey that measures the degree of civil liberties and political rights in every nation and significant related and disputed territories around the world. Freedom in the World ratings are determined by this methodology and are ranked on a point score of 1-100. Nations and territories with a score of -4 to 35 are classified as not free, 36-70 as partially free, and 71-100 as free. A Political Rights score above 20 qualifies a nation as an Electoral Democracy
