The Fortunan Confederation was a federal state which existed from November 1973 to March 1999. The state consisted of the three states of Fortuna; Emili, Ancona, and Toscani. Although in practice the states were equal under the confederacy, Emili and Ancona would compete with each other for influence over the Fortunan Archipelago. The confederation would dissolve when all three states in 1999 pulled out and reunited together to form the Second Fortunan Empire.
