Derrim

Derrim is the 6th most populous city in Aivintis, and the poorest by far. Since the Middle Ages, Derrim has been a haven of petty crime and unemployment, with the majority of the city acting as a huge slum for the lowest echelons of Aivintian society. Small parts of Derrim, however, remain untouched by the filthy conditions and poverty of the rest of the city, and serve instead as the last bastion of the old nobility’s wealth and prestige. In recent times, the Aivintian Mafia under a mob boss known as “Alpha” have taken over these districts.
