Rißtten, formally known as the Duchy of Rißtten, is a constituent state within Arkalarius ruled by the von Reitz family. The coastal territory is known for its rich soil and the spectacular rivers that flow down from the Arkian mountains. Though home to diverse technology and industrial sectors, the Duchy's economy is best known for the city of Rißtten and its important shipbuilding industry. The region is populated by the descendants of 16th-century Cryrian missionaries and settlers, and retains its strong Ademarist roots despite centuries of Ethalrian and Arkian roots.
