The president holds all the power in theory however, in reality, they are present just to approve any law the parliament forms without any change. The election occurs every 4 years since 1999.

Political freedom is low in Zeiberland. The media is mostly free however, it is riddled with government propaganda and in a state emergency the government may supress media if deemed necessary. The government ensures peace through control and anyone who questions the workings of the government in a non-constructive way are ignored or supressed.
