The present monarch is Jarlynja Elin Tovlstat, who has been reigned since the reformation of Ymirland in 2020. Her succession was disputed by her twin brother Sindre after her father's death, Otto Tolvstat which accidently led into a civil war. While the Ymirland branch only has two members currently alive. The [[Norgsveldet|Norgsveltian]] branch of the Tovlstat family several members alive and was uninvolved in the civil war. The crown prince is Elin's twin brother Sindre, which led to some push back within the two northern providences but far more approval in the southern two providence.
