The '''Welfare Coalition''' is a [[W:Coalition government|coalition government]] that has been the main governing body of [[Cappedore]] since the [[2010 Cappedore general election|2010 general election]]. Consisting of the [[Cappedorite Social Democratic Party]] and the [[Cappedore Union of Liberals|Cappedore Liberal Union]], it was formed on August10 10th,May 2010, after the CSDP failed to meet the required threshold to achieve a majority in the Gemotern. Since the formation of the coalition, the CSDP has not achieved an overall majority in the Gemotern, signalling a continuation of the government.

On May 5th, 2010, the day after the [[2010 Cappedore general election]], incumbent [[Chancellor of Cappedore|Chancellor]] [[Keir Crosland]] visited then [[Cappedore Liberal Union|Liberal]] leader [[Vikki Slade]] to discuss a potential coalition between the CSDP and the CLU in the Gemotern, after the CSDP fell 13 seats short of a required majority.
