The '''War of the Tretridian Succession''' was a 17th-century Novaran conflict triggered by a succession crisis in [[Tretrid]]. It was mainly fought between two rival claimants of the Tretridian throne, Eadgyð I and Ælfheah III. It marked the start of the [[Tretridian Anarchy]], a prolonged period of Tretridian instability, and largely led to the collapse of the [[Tretridian colonial empire]].
