The war boulder is a medieval defense and siege weapon used in Nisserige. A war boulder uses its weight and the slopes of mountains and hills to gain enough speed to trample enemy forces.

War boulders were first used in the War of Suits in 900CE and were primarily used in the northern mountainous areas of Nisserige. They proved to be an effective defense tactic against large enemy numbers who often had to make long treks to the tops of mountain castles. Since the inception of the war boulder, several contraptions have been created and used to help bring the Boulder back up the mountain. In 1920, Nisserige officially retired the use of the war boulder but occasionally used it ceremoniously.

Solgoliath		The Solgoliath got its paint and name after the boulder was catapulted onto enemy forces at the Battle of Galexia. The solar symbolism on the boulder reflect the many stories of the boulder trampling enemy forces from above rather than rolling.
Malleus		Malleus is the first ever war boulder to have been used in recorded history. It was created by the Kingdom of Clubs in 900CE during the War of Suits, in which the boulder's use was written about extensively.
Colossus of Franmark		The Colossus of Franmark is the largest war boulder by diameter and the boulder with the longest undefeated record. It was first commissioned by the Duke of Franmark circa the year 1200, where it remained in use until 1771.
Aham the Knighted		Aham the Knighted was a war boulder used in Duben between 1100 and 1143 during the reign of Duke Aham. In the modern day, most people refer to the boulder as simply Aham.
Mundus		Mundus garnered its fame from the vaguely map-like look of the boulder's ridges. In one Bundepost article, Mundus was also voted as the most beautiful war boulder of all time.
Krungr the Cast-Iron		Krungr the Cast-Iron was one of the few war boulders created during the Modern Era. This boulder is famous for departing from tradition by being made from iron rather than stone.
