After the speech, the dinner is closed to the public for the first two courses of the meal. Then it is back open to the public and members of the press are invited back in. It is tradition when the press is allowed back in, to have a comedian to be on the stage and tell jokes about the Federal Prime Minister of the Federation. The joking primary being made at the expense of the current FPM, the comedian act is seen as a gesture to show humbleness or humility on the FPM.
== History of Vorvick Dinner ==
The Vorvick Dinner started during the [[Federation of the Southern Coast#Great Unification War (1898-1920)|Unification War in the Federation]], hosted by first FPM [[Pépin Morel]] at a shelled out diner ran by a Kemonomimi Akuanist named Vorvick Ny'terz. The dinner was received by various officials from groups that aligned with the Monarcho-Socialist bloc during the unification war. The dinner was a held every year at the diner until 1930, where the owner died from issues raising from [[Kemonomimi Genetic Immunodeficiency Disorder|KGID]]. After which the Federal government took control of the diner and redesigned diner to be more of a state ran restraint for government officials and visitors. Vorvick has a statue outside of the diner after the remodel of the building.
