In 1965, Udo married Princess Halueth Ianjeon, and together they had one child in 1866; Princess Hatharal. However, their daughter passed away about two months after her birth.
Udo suffered with coronary heart disease from his mid-30s up until his death. In April 1912, Udo suffered two heart attacks in one day, causing him to abdicate the throne to make way for his younger brother, [[Caelthar IV, High King of Aranthia|Caelthar]]. He died of another heart attack three years later, on 24 October 1915, aged 78.
