History
Akuanism is a primordial religion, with no single established accepted source, rather it is believed it came out of native folklore and beliefs of prehistoric Boreans. As oppose to other primordial religions such as Paxism or generally more well established organized religions like Ulvriktru. The first (known) written religious stories of Akuanism was collection of disjointed tales collected by scholars at the Grand Shrine of Lilith, with no real link between the tales. Sociologists believe the collection originated from across the continent, that was most well known to the given scholar. The Grand Shrine of Lilith having been founded sometime in the 4th millennium BC, and it currently believed the first writings took around this time. It isn't known if it the disjointed tales was the first writing, as the first writings of the Grand Shrine made reference to the collection but it's theorized by Akuan historians that there are older Akuan writings. This is due to the reference of names in the first writings about the Grand Shrine, which could either be name of stories or names of scholars.
