Garrisons and facilities beyond Mirhaimian soil are maintained within the context of the Comlathas Enhanced Defence Organization in Afragola, Thalor, Costalan, Sayyed, Marisha, Meilaftaland, Phoenixia and Taiyō. In the event of an emergency that threatens the security and integrity of CEDO's Novaran Command, selected sections of the Gaoirgalos can congregate into the Continental Contigency Force under the leadership of the Continental Novaran High Command. On a global scale, they can be organized into the Global Contingency Force.

HistoryEtymology
The term "Gaoirgalos" stems from the compound word of High Fefsen "Gaoiran", "(to) defend" and "galos", "power/strength, force". Together, they form the basic term to refer and describe any armed forces, not necessarily Mirhaimian or Trinterian in origin. The term used to refer to the individual branch constituting the Gaoirgalos are compound of their distinctive action and role, combined with the suffix "-óirí" appended to words to create an agent noun, indicating a group of people who do something. Cosantóirí, meaning "Realm Guards" is a compound of "Cosant", "(to) guard/protect" and the suffix. The roots of Farraigeoirí, "Farraige", and Leathóirí, "Leath" individually mean "Sailors" and "Flyers". Similarly, Coimeádaitheoirí na hTíre is formed by the compound word of "Coimeádaithe", "(to) keep" and the suffix, followed by "na hTíre", "of (the) Homeland) (lenited).

Structure
Leadership of the Gaoirgalos is established in Article V of the Constitution of Deamirt wherein the Léiadh of the Trinterian Realm is named as the "Warmaster-Superior (Meachairachatóir) of the Cosantóirí, Farraigeoirí, and Coimeádaitheoirí of each dominion". In the same article, the Tiatarán of the Trinterian Realm is designated as the "Warmaster-Inferior (Meachairíochatóir) of the the Cosantóirí, Farraigeoirí, and Coimeádaitheoirí of each dominion". These leadership positions were later reinforced in 1936 following the formal establishment of the Realm Aviation Service to also include the Leathóirí for both the Léiadh and Tiatarán.

The Rannóg na gComhrac (Chamber of War) is the principal organ through which the Léiadh and Tiatarán form military policies. It is split in responsibilities between two subordinating departments, with the Comhaireacht na hCoimeádaitheoirí (Cabinet of the Keepers) serving as the primary arm for anti-terrorism, border security, immigration and customs, cyber security, and disaster prevention and management, and the Comhaireacht na gComhrac (Cabinet of War) being responsible for military affairs. Within the Rannóg na gComhrac, each of the branches maintain their own, civilian-led entities responsible for organizing, training, and equipping forces, with combat operations in actuality handled by each of the Gaoirgalos' Military Regions and Combatant Commands.
