The '''Western Provinces''' ([[w:Dutch_language|Vistarian]]: ''Westelijke Provincies'', Suvan: ''Baruun Aimguud'', Slijk: ''Wesenlik Provencies'', also known as the '''UWP''', was a Western Yasterian country between 1971 and 2022, formed from a union of the regions of Autern, Grenstroom, Stillewater and parts of Northern Edalavia. Officially the '''United Free Provinces of Western Suvania''', it was first described as an [[Ademarism|Ademarist]] state, however attained a more multicultural identity centred around liberal democracy in contrast to the authoritarian regimes in Upper and Lower Suvania. Following the Second Suvani War in 1984, the Western Provinces was bordered by Upper Suvania in the East, [[Vistaraland]] to the West and Lower Suvania to the south in the divided region of Adelisia.
