[[Verlhanz Rothgerus]] was appointed [[Prime Ministers of Great Morstaybishlia|Prime Minister of Great Morstaybishlia]] by [[Lambertus VII|King Lambertus VII]] on 2 March 1998 and formed the '''Rothgerus ministry''', a [[MBE Labour|Labour]] government, which held office with a majority that waned between 1998 and 2005. In an attempt to gain a workable majority in the House of Representatives during the [[State of Morstaybishlia|State of Morstaybishlia crisis]], Rothgerus called a new election for 4 May 2005, after which he was defeated by [[Walter Johannes]]. The ministry is the first and only full seven-year term Labour government.
