The 2021 Aduraszna General Election to determine the composition of the Aszar Chamber of Representatives
At the 2017 election, the right-wing ReNDaF, led by Kasran Felaits, lost 22 seats but retained a slim majority in the Chamber. In 2018, a leadership spill led to a change of party leader (and therefore, prime minister), to moderate Harun Lunsdzhura.
The election
The election saw both major parties lose dozens of seats, particularly by ReNDaF, who lost 42 of their 46 seats on the south coast of Aduraszna, including that of the prime minister, Harun Lunsdzhura. Former ReNDaF prime ministers Voltschesrisz Ankir and Kasran Felaits also lost their seats, along with half of the Lunsdzhura Ministry.
Although the only viable government is an AK/ER-Solidarity coalition, this result has not yet been declared, as negotiations are still ongoing.
