Space Debris Crisis: Difference between revisions

On December 13th, 20062016, the [[Vakarastan|Vakari]] space program launched a rocket from the Aeronautics, Space, and Weather Administration launch facility in [[Peregrinia]], which Vakarastan leased for the launch. This was the country's first ever spacecraft launch attempt, and at the time it was by far the least wealthy country on Urth to attempt a spacecraft launch. The rocket failed to reach the correct altitude before launching its satellite payload, and the satellite entered into a highly unstable orbit that, after some hours, caused it to collide with [[Emberwood Coast|Emberwood Coast's]] [[Myriad Station]]. Both were destroyed in the incident.
