In Asendavian, Asendavia is known as Asetinuklori. This name originates from Gliat Shea, where Asetinuklori was the name for a mythical land to the east, literally translating to Great Eastern Land. Asetinuklori is a combination of the Asendavian words aset, meaning great or vast; inu, meaning east or eastern; and klori, meaning land, country, or place. In reference to Asendavia specifically, the name Asetinuklori first appeared in 789 AA in a document from Hvitsora, referring only to the parts of Asendavia east of the Ademarite Mountains, with the parts of Asendavia west of them being referred to as Asetuskanklori, or the Vast Forested Land.
The Asendavian Military, currently headed by Ivan Harstad, has been the military of Asendavia throughout its whole history. While it may have not seen as many foreign battles and wars, they have seen many internal ones. The most recent use of the Asendavian Military was in the war between the SEPC and the Fire Pact, although only the Air Force and the Navy truly had any action in it. The Military is centered in Fort Tungrad, which is to the north of Stromharad and south Of Khiyev. It is also the largest fort in Asendavia. The Military has three main branches:▼
