Delarzhien was the runner-up in the 2020 [[Civic Party (MBE)|Civic Party]] leadership election, and has since joined in 2021, and now leads since 2022 the Radical Centre faction within the party and advocating for [[Wikipedia:Electoral reform|electoral]], taxation, [[Wikipedia:Green politics|environmental]] and political reforms, the latter most notably for Morstaybishlian devolution and the abolishment of the House of Peers for an elected upper-chamber.

Ruz Delarzhien was born on 8 August 1978 in Rivermead, Kirdintayos, to a KaltarKaltariz mother and Valerian father. She was raised in Valeria, briefly living in Albriels before moving to Tirillon, Kirdintayos. Her father died in 1987, and Ruz was raised by her mother and her carpenter brother in KaltarKaltariezh. Her aunt Lizabelle Delarzhien helped Ruz as a young adult embark on a career as a lawyer after leaving college.
