The prime minister of the Republic Esteira (Esteiran: primeiro-ministro) is the deputy head of government and the second highest political office in the Republic of Esteira. The position is appointed by the President of Esteira and has no term lengths; the prime minister serves at the President's pleasure. The prime minister is not required to be a member of the National People's Assembly, though traditionally the prime minister will hold a seat in the assembly. The prime minister is not the head of government of Esteira, as the president is both the head of state and government.
Emilio Batista is the current prime minister. He took the office on May 1, 2018.
