== Government ==
Phoenixia has beenis a presidential unitary republic since 1420 following the constitutional referendum that abolishedtakes theplace monarchy. From 1889 it changed its structure intoin a presidentialmulti-party republicframework. Currently Carlo Cox Andrew since 2016, Theis the phoenixianPhoenixian head of state. The President of the Republic is elected by universal suffrage by the citizens, has a term of 6 years, renewable twice.
The government is composed of three branches:
Legislative: The Congress makes law, declares war, approves treaties, , and has the power of impeachment, by which it can remove sitting members of the government.
The Phoenixian political system is composed of an executive power, exercised by the president of the republic and the goverment, a legislative power , which is exercised by the Congress and a judicial power exercised by the Supreme court and the Constitutional Court. The government is made up of the Premier and the ministers. The government can be dismissed by Congress on a motion of no confidence; this guarantees that the Government, proposed by the President of the Republic, is always supported by the majority of the Congress.
Executive: The President is the commander-in-chief of the military, appoints prime minister and judges of the constitutional court. The Cabinet, made up of ministers, is proposed by the premier and approved by the congress.
Judicial: The Constitutional Court interprets laws and overturn those they find unconstitutional.
