Count Peter Florence of Maven was an Aivintian revolutionary, Count, and Foreign Affairs Magister in the late 19th century. Florence revolted shortly after the coronation of King Thaddeus Stuart I, gathering nationalist “Florentine” rebels in secret camps and throughout County Maven’s cities. By the turn of the century, Florence had gathered a loyal inner circle of followers, a couple foreign allies, and the support of nearly half of all the Aivintian counties. By 1908, Florence and the Crown were engaged in total Civil War. In April of 1911, King Thaddeus executed him in front of thousands, and established the Aivintian Empire over his corpse.
