In Prehistoric times, the first Oileanians came across the Southern Gondwanan Land Bridge. Hunters and gatherers, they chased the land's plentiful game, before settling on the Emerald Isles after the innovation of farming. Oileanian civilization mostly relied on penned animals such as cattle and sheep, but farming was not a negligible aspect of society. Based on archaeological evidence, these Oileanian fields were extensive farming networks, separated by dry-stone crops. Wheat and barley were the earliest crops. Society developed not too long after Oileanian settlements had sprouted up, setting the stage for the history of Oilean.
By the Bronze Age, Oilean experienced innovations such as the wheel; harnessing oxen; weaving textiles; brewing alcohol; and skillful metalworking, produced new weapons and tools, along with fine gold decoration and jewelry, such as brooches and torques
