Oilean: Difference between revisions

Militarily, Oilean is under the occupation of the [[Aivintis#Military|Aivintian Armed Forces]]. Their sovereign military was dissolved in the Treaty of Fort Steel, and replaced with an Aivintian garrison, which has, over the years, grown to a significant size. The role of the Aivintian military in Oilean is mainly to keep order and peace, which involves putting down any attempted uprisings and maintaining Aivintian rule. Historically, the Oileanians themselves have provided very little for the Aivintian military, mostly due to mutual distrust and fear. Since the Federal Kritarchy took over, however, Oilean has played a much more active role, although only a small number of Oileanians have been allowed to enlist.
